This Thanksgiving I have so much to be grateful for. For the past several years I never really got a chance to enjoy the holiday weekend like everyone else, but this year I got to enjoy it and actually have a lot to be thankful for. Unlike the past when this day brought forth feelings of boredom and sometimes a mild case of depression, having been through a lot this year from the loss of a job, to reentering school, to finding another job has made me so grateful .Now granted life ain’t perfect, but I thank God for not being in that stuck place that so many of us find ourselves in. I’m moving forward and excited for 2010, because I know God has just begun his work in me.

How Frugal R U?
I invited a buddy of mine and her son to see a matinee of Precious on opening weekend. She revealed to me that their routine was to go to the movies during the a.m hours. Yes I said A.M.!! My friend's reasoning is that it's cheaper by $2.50 to go in the morning around nine and that it's something I should try in the future. I thought it was hilarious! First of all I'm all about saving a buck, but Saturdays which is my movie day is the only day of the week I can sleep in. Monday - Friday I'm at work early, and on Sunday I'm in the Lord' house. Well the odds of me going to a movie (no matter how anxious I am to see it)in the wee hours of the morning is slim to none. AMC Cinemas can have the extra $2.50 , while I partake of an extra few hours of sleep.
Comment below and give examples of your frugality and the lengths you will go to to save a few bucks.

A Blast From A Not So Great Past
Have you ever felt as though a person you left in your past will never reappear? Well I thought that too until I saw someone I thought was a friend on Facebook. Seeing this person momentarily messed me up, but I'm okay now. Seeing this former "friend" just dredged up some bad memories in my life, a time that my self esteem was shot, and I felt as though my life was going nowhere. Well I'm over that, but I just want to know has that ever happened to you, and how did you deal with it?
