Single Black Women Adopting: A New Trend

Adoption has become an attractive option for those that are unmarried and have a desire to be a mother. With so many kids in need of good homes, I find this to be a good idea. Let's face it, we see the stories on the news all the time of neglected children. Women who desire to be mothers should not be held back because they have no spouse. I agree a 2 parent home would be the most attractive option, but with so many black women remaining single and (not by choice ) should their dreams of motherhood be denied?
